Our Story

@OakTreeStories

Oak Tree Arts began life in 2011, with four enthusiastic young writers.  Nestled away behind the bookshelves of Abbey Books, they tested their writing skills, challenged their imaginations, and created some fantastic stories!

Since then, we have grown to create and provide storytelling & creative writing clubs for ages 3 – 21.

We continue to run our weekly meetings but also provide projects for nursery, school and community groups.

Each year we publish a book of story creations and celebrate our writers achievements with a special book launch party.

All of our projects are designed to support language and literacy development through games and play.

We currently run in person and online writing clubs.
